The Growing the Growers workshops series organised by ANFAB commenced in August 2017 in Ballina, NSW. Australian Native Food and Botanicals (ANFAB) is the peak national body which represents all interests in the rapidly-growing Australian native food and botanical sector.
The ANFAB series of workshops across Australia are showcasing the exciting developments and possibilities of the burgeoning native food and botanicals sector.

The Ballina event provided guest talks by various native food growers and experts from the Northern NSW area. Of interest to essential oil producers is the potential for use of essential oil bearing plants as culinary herbs (lemon myrtle, strawberry gum) and the potential for essential oil production from some varieties of Finger lime leaf and fruit peel.
