Aromatica Australia 2019 was held from 1st – 5th November 2019 at the Ultima Function Rooms in Tweed Heads, NSW. This was third biennial Aromatica and included: workshops regarding natural perfumery, biochemical action of essential oils via aromatherapy and contemporary uses of plants and plant extracts; and lectures covering a range of topics regarding production, uses and applications of essential oils for Aromtherapy. The list of speakers included four EOPAA members: 

  • David Johnston – The expansion of the Native and Non-Native Australian essential oil industry through conventional farm diversification, co-operation and networking
  • Andrew Pengelly – Australian essential oils and plant medicines for treatment of resistant infections, with proven and novel combinations
  • Kerry Ferguson – Therapeutic benefits of plant oils and extracts of Central and Northern NSW with a focus on Buddha Wood Essential Oil and Mimosa Absolute
  • Ashley Dowell – Australian Essential Oils – History and Emerging Trends
